The Incredible Dream
The Incredible Dream documents the story of the Hebrew university in Israel.
Despite its troubled beginnings amidst war and revolution, the university attracted the best minds in the world including Einstein and Freud. The program follows the difficult process of constructing a shared library and shared language. Surviving constant attacks through the Second World War and the Israeli War of Independence, the school emerged as center of learning, a symbol of intellectual freedom and a beacon for the Jewish people.
This poignant film reveals how the Hebrew University has become, "a university for all people, everywhere."
