Director Arthur Hiller was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and attended Victoria School for the Performing and Visual Arts.

 

His work in television and film includes: "Love Story", "The In-Laws", "The Out-of-Towners", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "Gunsmoke", "Perry Mason", "Route 66", "The Adams Family", "Disneyland",  "Man of La Mancha", "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", "The Babe" and "National Lampoon's Pucked".

 

Arthur was president of the Director's Guild of America (DGA). He was also president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
